Twinners

When Nash and Gray were little I was a little obsessed with dressing them alike. Joey was not a fan of this obsession. Now that Tag and Gray are wearing the hand me downs, there are a lot of the same shirts for them to wear. I normally would not promote the twin look anymore but it is the only way to get Gray to not wear his Cars 2 clothes. If I tell him he gets to dress just like Tag he will wear whatever Tag is wearing. Looks like there might be a few more twin days in our future. *Love Tag's face in this picture-Looks like he shares his Dad's opinion on dressing the same as his big brother!

Blue and Gold Dinner

Tonight we went to the first of many blue and gold dinners. It was an outdoor theme so we sat on blankets in the outdoorsy decorated cultural hall. We enjoyed hot dogs, chips, campfire skits and awards. Luke seemed to love it! I have never been to into the scouting program. Guess I will learn to love it since I have four boys! I think Heavenly Father wants to teach me something! I am proud of Luke and how much he is learning through his scout participation.

Eleven Months

I seriously cannot believe my baby is eleven months! He has brought us so much joy over the last 11 months and time sure flies when you are loving it! He is army crawling all over the place and attempting to crawl on all fours. He LOVES food and will eat just about anything you give him. He almost always sleeps through the night and takes one great nap a day! He is always smiling and loves all of his siblings. We are so grateful for this little guy!!

Our Cali Trip

Last weekend, Tag and I were lucky to get to fly to California to visit Nannie and Tara. It had been almost two years since I had last seen Nannie and she had never met Tag. We had enough miles to fly for free and took off on Saturday morning. The fly down was a little much for Tag. Since it was nap time, I had anticipated him sleeping the whole time and was not prepared when he did not! We made it through and Tara picked us up. We spent the weekend visiting with both Tara and Nannie. We had a great time. On Monday I was able to see Nathan and Kaydan. I sure miss all of them!!

Luke's Valentine Box

This year, all the third grade classes were given the option to make or not to make a Valentine box. If they were to do one, they had to do it at home. So Luke had the idea to make his look like an Ipod. He did such a great job. Luke is such an artist and I love to watch him in action! Love the final outcome!

Valentine's Day

Well I am not sure how it happened, but the kids seemed to think that Valentines Day is a small version of Christmas. They woke up early, covered their eyes on the way to our room, excited to see what they got. I hope they were not disappointed but I am sure they got a lot more than most kids do! It was a fun day. I was able to go and work in Harlee's classroom just as I did in Luke's the year before. The kids had tons of treats and enjoyed heart shape pizza for dinner. So grateful for all of my little Valentines! I am especially grateful for my only true Valentine! I had to work on Valentine's night so Joey and I went out on Friday night for our special date!

The first of many...

In Harlee's class they are learning about mail and writing letters. Each day they have been asked to write a letter to someone in their class. Each day she has been bringing them home and we will read them together. This is a letter from a boy in her class named Noah. It says: Harlee, I love you and I like you and I love you vere much!" So cute. I think he might like her a little bit! She gets so embarrassed by this kind of stuff but I think it is so sweet. I know that this is just the first of many love letters this beautiful girl is going to receive!

Nash's Field Trip

On Thursday Nash's preschool class went on a field trip. They went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. Nash had a really good time. He said his favorite part was when he was going over the bridge. This is a fun bridge that takes you through a dark room only lit by stars. I am so grateful that Nash has the opportunity to learn and love preschool!

Big Boy Cart

When we went to the store on Thursday I decided to try Tag in the cart without his carseat. I was so sad that he was big enough to do this and he loved it! He is such a big boy!! With each new thing he does I cross something off the never again baby list. I am so grateful for this angel to be my last one but I am saddened by how quickly he is growing up.

10 Months Old

Tag is ten months old! I seriously am in denial. I want this cute little guy to stay a baby! He is just a dream kid and I do love to watch all of the new things he is learning to do. He loves to stand on his head and is attempting to crawl on all fours. He scoots everywhere and puts everything in his mouth. He rarely cries and always smiles. Just love this little guy! He melts my heart...

Snow Day

When we were driving home from our night away we were brainstorming about what we could do on Monday as a family since it was a holiday. Money is a little tight lately since all of our extra funds are going to the basement. So we decided we would enjoy having a mountain in our backyard! We are seriously so lucky! So we got Tag down for his nap, bundled up, and hiked out our fence to sled down the mountain. We had so much fun. Gray loved it and would ride on my sled with me. I am sure he did not love me screaming in his ear! Seriously so fun! Nash rode with Joey and was not having the best time. It is so crazy to see their little personalities manifested in these different situations! I just love having family time and feel so blessed to enjoy the free fun in our own backyard!

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
