Blue and Gold Dinner
Tonight was the Blue and Gold dinner. Luke stayed home with Tag but the rest of us were lucky enough to go. We feasted on baked potatoes and then the awards began. The leaders dressed as flight attendants. They had each of the kids put on a pilot hat and glasses and they were given pinwheels to use as their wings. When their name was called they would run "fly" down the runway to get their awards. It was so cute. Gray got his cyber chip and Nash got his Duty to God. I am so proud of how hard they are working in scouts and I am grateful for the wonderful leaders that they get to work with.
Mr. Independent
Tag is growing up too fast! He has really been wanting to do a lot of things on his own. He has been asking for a few days if he could make his own bottle and this morning I had some time to help him do it. I walked him through all of the steps and he made the bottle himself. I am so proud of him.

New Beginnings
Tonight was New Beginnings for Young Womens. Since it is Harlee's first year she was spotlighted by one of the older girls. They said her favorite color was blue and she loves dance and running. They shared the story of how she once painted our office with white out. They also talked about how kind Har is and how she would do anything for anyone. So so true! When the program was over I was visiting with a couple of people. I had several leaders come up to me and tell me how much they love Harlee. I responded by saying that she is everything that I wish I was. She truly is amazing. Her old primary president said that Harlee is going places. I cannot wait to watch her on the journey. So blessed to be her mom.

Super Achievement Award
Today Tag came home from school with a Super Achievement Award. It said the reason for the award was for "Being Awesome in P.E". I am so proud of Tag. I still cannot believe that he is in mainstream school and thriving. The award came with a coupon for a free item at Del Taco which Tag offered to give to me. Such a cute boy!

Beehive First Counselor
Today Harlee was sustained as the first counselor in the Beehive presidency. The president is Sophia Norton, the second counselor is Reese Womble, and the secretary is Summer Kenyon. I just know Harlee will be such an asset to the presidency. She is so kind and such an example to everyone around her. I just know that she is going to do amazing things!

Dance Competition
Today Harlee had her dance competition at Thanksgiving Point. She first competed her hip hop dance first. It is called "Imma Be" and she did an amazing job. I love watching her perform. Her BFF Aubrey was there competing with her studio and she stayed to watch Harlee do her hip hop dance. I love seeing them together. We came back in the evening so Harlee could compete her jazz dance called "Queen". I am so impressed with the amazing dancer she has become. She got 1st place for hip hop and first for jazz. Her jazz number also took Team Overall! So amazing! I am so grateful that I can watch her perform and enjoy dance.

"I Pledger"
Today when we were packing Tag's lunch I told him that I have people watching him at school making sure he is eating his whole lunch. I told him that someone told me he had dumped his whole lunch in the garbage so he could rush out to recess. My friend Cami had mentioned that the other day. I watched the blood drain from his face and then he said "I Pledger" as he put his hand up to his forehead. "Mom I pledger that I will eat my whole lunch and never do that again!" I was laughing so hard. Such a cute boy! I never know what will come out of his mouth but I do believe that he will be eating much more of his lunch in days to come.

Sunday and a little bit of Monday in St. George
Sunday was our last full day in St. George. I cannot believe how quickly these trips go! We woke up and relaxed for a few hours. Then Joey, Harlee, and I went to see a few more homes. This time we went to Washington Fields. I saw my favorite house! The decor was my favorite the only thing lacking was the view. We decided to pick up lunch at In and Out on our way home. We spent many hours binge watching "Bringing sexy back" on Netflix. We ended up making dinner at home and then decided to get the house all clean so that we could leave first thing in the morning. We came to find out that this was the best decision because we woke up to snow! I could not believe it! Tag said "I cannot believe this! Is this a joke?" Love that kid. The drive was a lot slower with the weather and poor Gray and Tag were not feeling good. Poor kiddos! I am so sad to be home but cannot wait until Spring Break.

Saturday in Sunny St. George
It feels so good to wake up in St. George. I love this place. We started the morning with a little pickle ball. Well, Joey took all of the kids except for Luke. I stayed home and cleaned a bit while Luke got his work out done. They had so much fun playing pickle ball and celebrated with some icees. Once they got home Joey and I ran to Tom's deli for some sandwiches on the run while we tried to squeeze in a few more houses. We went to a few houses by Snow Canyon. One of the homes was AMAZING complete with a pool in the courtyard. Only $2.9 million- WOW! After a few houses I took everyone but Luke to the indoor pool. The kids had so much fun swimming while I got to relax. So perfect! After the pool we went to Pizza Factory for dinner. We LOVE that place. Then we went home to watch Ralph Breaks the Internet. What a perfect end to an amazing day! I feel so blessed to have this beautiful home where we can make these memories as a family.

Friday Fun in St. George
There is nothing better than waking up in my favorite place! We were so excited for a few days in St. George to relax. Harlee and I ran to Walmart to get stocked up with food for the stay. The weather was so nice that I was able to wear flip flops to the store. We relaxed a bit and then Joey and I went to enjoy a little belated Valentine's date at Cafe Sabor. From there we went to get our Parade of Home tickets. We went and picked up Harlee and took her with us to see a few homes. The homes were beautiful. After a few homes we went and picked up the kids to go to dinner at Red Robin. It was so fun to all eat together and have everyone enjoy themselves. After dinner we went to play Frisbee golf. It was so much fun and the weather was kind of perfect. The kids all did really well. After we played the holes the kids goofed off on the playground. Then we all went home and watched Bohemian Rhapsody. What an amazing day surrounded by my favorite people! So grateful we have two more full days to enjoy.

Happy Valentine's Day
Oh Day of Love!! I love Valentine's Day and they opportunity I have to let my loves know how much I love them. Each of my 6 Valentines woke up to a special little gift. Nash referred to it as the "Valentine's Fairy". The kids each got a new bathing suit and some candy. I made Joey a cd and got him candy and a card. He broke the no gifts rule and got me a couple new shirts, candy, a card, and three cds. We left at 5:30pm to head down to St. George. There is nothing more romantic than driving in a car with five kids and a stinky dog! But in all honesty it was perfect! I love being surrounded by my favorite people going to our favorite place. Happy Love Day!
