Honor Roll Kicks Butt

So proud of Luke!  He has been on the Honor Roll all three terms of his seventh grade year and I am sure he will make it four terms!  He is a smart kid and has worked really hard this year.  We struggled a little the first term with motivation to turn assignments in on time but once he new the consequence (no phone) he hasn't had a late assignment since!  Way to go Luke!  Such a great example to your younger siblings!  *I asked him to take a picture and the first pose is what I got!  Funny Kid!

Living Room Dance Lessons

The other day Harlee found an old cd player.  She made herself a cd with fun music and has been listening to it very often!  Last night she had her younger brothers in the front room.  Hand Clap by Fitz and the Tantrums was playing and she was helping them make up a dance!  She had each of them make up a dance move and then she put them all together.  It was so cute!  I loved watching them perform.  So fun for Harlee to have these cute brothers that will go along with her choreography!

Nash's First Pinewood Derby

Tonight Nash got to experience his first Pinewood Derby.  Since this definitely falls on the "Man's Job" list Joey helped him with his car and then took him to the Derby see how well the car worked!  Nash painted his car gray and put some orange/red flames on it.  The flames helped him win the "Best Flames" award.  The car was super fast and Nash won third place overall.  He was so excited with the results!  Love this cute boy!

Tag's field trip to the Aquarium

Just another reason I LOVE giant steps.  Tag gets to go on a field trip every month!  This month we got to go to the Aquarium.  Tag was so excited and I was so lucky to be able to go with him.  He loved looking at the fish and was not scared of the sharks at all!  He loved the penguins and as we got closer he said "Mom, I can smell them!"  He made it through the whole thing a couple of times and then ended the fun with a diet coke icee.  Love that he gets to have these experiences with his cute friends.

Cashing in on the Pass

The kids could hardly wait to use their gift from the EB!  We decided to go to the Lehi Fun Center for family night.  The kids minus Tag went and played laser tag first.  Tag rode the frog hopper over and over and then played on the playground.  We finished the night with a fun virtual reality ride and a few more rounds on the frog hopper.  This pass is great and will give us more options for fun this summer.

Bad Ike

Gray loves to get in Ike's pen with him and play.  Gray lays down and Ike just bites and plays all over him.  I knew that Ike's playing had gone a little too far when Gray started crying.  Ike had bit and scratched his cheek.  Poor Gray!

Easter Morning

The kids woke up bright and early to see what the Bunny left for them!  The each found some candy, a new shirt, some bubbles and a pass of all passes!  The Easter Bunny is AMAZING!  Due to the holiday Joey didn't have meetings and it was my gift to have him home.  I am so grateful for my family and feel so blessed to have this day to reflect on the reason why I can be with my favorite people forever.  So grateful for my Savior and His willingness to sacrifice His life for me.

Mimi's Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had Mimi's Annual Easter egg hunt.  We stepped it up this year and had a really yummy Easter lunch with ham, potatoes, and rolls.  So good!  Then we made our way outside for the hunt.  Jenna added a couple money eggs also this year so the hunt was a little more intense!  Gray was the lucky one that found the $5 egg.  I love watching our kids hang out with their cousins.  Family is such a blessing.

Soccer Saturday

And so it begins... Gray has started his Spring soccer.  I think this will be his last soccer season since he is doing swim four days a week but he loves it!  He is such a great soccer player.  He is not afraid to get in there and is quite aggressive on the field.  I love watching him play!

We Love Giant Steps

Tag's school has been the biggest blessing for our family.  He loves going every day and gets to do so many fun things.  When I went to work in his class on today I got there at the perfect time.  Mrs. Katie's Dad brought his baby ducks and Tag was in heaven.  He was so excited to pet them and watch them.  They also had an Easter egg hunt that day and he couldn't wait to bring home his bunny ears.  We love this blessed opportunity and we love our Easter Bunny!

Spring Break in the SG

We were lucky to spend the last week in our favorite place!  We left on Friday night and arrived to see the new floors!  They looked amazing!  So excited for the changes that will take place over the next few years as we mold this place into our perfect forever St. George home.  It really is getting beautiful and I could not feel more blessed.  On Saturday we listened to conference, went to the park for a picnic, played in the water, and relaxed.  Sunday we enjoyed more conference and then had dinner with Grandpa and Grandma.  Monday we went to the movies.  Joey took the boys to see "Boss Baby" and Harlee and I got to see Beauty and the Beast.  It was an amazing movie.  The weather was kind of awful so we just relaxed and started painting the house.  We started watching a Netflix series called the Kindness Diaries- so so good! Tuesday was a fun day!  I had to work quite a bit but Joey took the kids on a hike to Chuckwalla.  After the hike grandma met us at House of Jump and the kids jumped for a few hours.  After jumping we went with grandma and grandpa to Pizza Factory for dinner.  Then the pool was finally warm and the kids enjoyed some night swimming.  Wednesday we had our friends, the Tate's over for pizza and swimming.  It was so fun to catch up with them! On Wednesday night Luke had Tyson over to swim and hang out.  On the way home the car started breaking down and we knew it was going to be a problem.  We talked to Jim McCoy and he said he would be there Thursday morning at 8am with a spare car for us to borrow and he would follow us to a mechanic to get it taken care of.  We are so grateful for his persistence and their willingness to help us!  Such great people. Thursday we woke up early and after a few failed attempts we made it to the GMC dealership.  They told us the news we worried about, we needed a new transmission and mass heating system.  They quoted us $3700 plus tax.  I wanted to throw up.  I spoke to Cheryl from work and she recommended another mechanic.  We drove it there and he was able to verify the worst.  He said he could fix it for $2900 and we would have the car back the next day.  It was such a blessing.  So much money to fix the car but such a blessing we could get it done.  That night we went and had a bbq at grandma and grandpa's.  Jamie, Mindi, Carson, his friend Ben, and Ryan all came down.  It was so fun to relax and visit with them.  Friday we spent a lot of time working on painting and swimming.  We were able to get the car back and spend a little time with Mindi.  We tried Terryaki Grill for our new place this trip for dinner and got our favorite cookies!  Then we went home to clean and finished the night watching a movie with my favorite guy!  We watched Split- scary movie! What a nice break!  I love spending time with my favorite people in my favorite place.  I still cannot believe that home is ours.  It is such a blessing for our family and I am beyond grateful for the memories that we get to make.

Women's conference tradition

Oh how lucky I am to have been blessed with a daughter!  She is seriously the best Heavenly Father had to give.  We have a tradition to watch the General Relief Society broadcast every six months in my bed with take out, treats, and comfy clothes.  I love and look forward to these times.  Such great testimonies were shared and I felt the spirit so strongly.  So grateful for the gospel in my life and the opportunities I have to feel of Heavenly Father's love through the words of our leaders.

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
