10 Months Old

Tag is ten months old! I seriously am in denial. I want this cute little guy to stay a baby! He is just a dream kid and I do love to watch all of the new things he is learning to do. He loves to stand on his head and is attempting to crawl on all fours. He scoots everywhere and puts everything in his mouth. He rarely cries and always smiles. Just love this little guy! He melts my heart...

Snow Day

When we were driving home from our night away we were brainstorming about what we could do on Monday as a family since it was a holiday. Money is a little tight lately since all of our extra funds are going to the basement. So we decided we would enjoy having a mountain in our backyard! We are seriously so lucky! So we got Tag down for his nap, bundled up, and hiked out our fence to sled down the mountain. We had so much fun. Gray loved it and would ride on my sled with me. I am sure he did not love me screaming in his ear! Seriously so fun! Nash rode with Joey and was not having the best time. It is so crazy to see their little personalities manifested in these different situations! I just love having family time and feel so blessed to enjoy the free fun in our own backyard!

Eleven Years

Time sure flies when you are having fun! I cannot believe that it has been eleven years since that snowy day where I got to marry my best friend for eternity! I am so grateful he chose me! We were lucky enough to get a night away to celebrate! We started at Texas Roadhouse for dinner then off to the Marriot at City Creek. They were so nice to upgrade our room for our special night! We checked in and then walked to Cheesecake Factory. We each got a huge slice of cake to enjoy in our room in our comfy clothes. It was such a relaxing night. We got up and went to breakfast at the Original Pancake House. I just love this guy! He is truly my best friend and I cannot wait to enjoy an eternity more of anniversaries!

"Clap"

I am loving watching Tag learn new things! He recently learned how to clap and is so proud of himself. He was doing it in his highchair so I quickly grabbed the camera. I said Tag do the clap clap claps! As soon as I would say that he would start to cry. It was the funniest thing! Love this boy!

Superstar Student

On Thursday Nash came home from school wearing his special crown! He was the Star Student! I saw him wearing it as he led his class out from preschool that day. When I asked him why he was wearing that crown he said "Just Because!" It is moments like this that I realize how much he is like his father! The least details possible!

Today is her Birthday!

Today is Harlee's birthday! I cannot believe my beautiful little girl is 6! Where did the time go? She told me she wished everyday was her birthday and Christmas! For her birthday she got to choose every meal we ate: For breakfast she chose eggs and cinnamon rolls, Lunch was quesidillas, and dinner she wanted Del Taco. After dinner she opened her presents and we ate cake with pink frosting! So grateful for Harlee. I think Heavenly Father knew that I would only have one daughter so He sent me His BEST!! I just love her! Happy Birthday my sweet girl!

Harlee's 6th Birthday Party

This year was a party year for Harlee!! She decided, with a lot of persuasion from her older brother, to have her party at Airborne. (Luke gets to come and invite one friend!) I of course did not mind since Uncle Ryan offered a 50% discount. So she invited nine little friends and 6 of them were able to come. She had such a great time. They all got along jumping for an hour and a half. Then we went up to our private room for pizza and doughnuts. Harlee then opened her gifts and gave each girl a "thank you" hug after opening their gift. Love it! They were all so good and I really enjoyed watching them have so much fun.

His first FAST

On Sunday we challenged Luke to have his first fast. He was a little reluctant at first but did a wonderful job. He decided to fast that Grandma and Grandpa would be safe on their upcoming mission. What a good boy! He is setting such a good example for his younger siblings who are always looking up to him. Love you Luke!

Welcome 2013

I am so excited for our first full year as a complete family! Kind of weird to not be expecting a baby since that was our life for the last 8 years. So excited to watch the kids grow and try new things. It is going to be a great year- I can feel it!!

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
