After two cancellations due to weather and sickness, the groomer finally made it today to groom gross Ike. I was so grateful! He was not super excited about it per usual but I was so happy with the results. And she even finished him off with a bowtie. He looks fantastic. He came in all angry like he usually does but he finally let me get close to him and snap a picture. I love our clean shaven puppy.
This semester, Tag is taking a class that teaches sewing. He had to make a pillow. He drew Mario on the front piece of the fabric and then sewed it together with a solid piece of fabric for the backside of the pillow. So creative! I am so proud of Tag! He is thriving in all of the new things he is learning.
Today while we were sitting in sacrament meeting, I got a text from each of the kids asking if we were going to go to the Pie. You see, we typically go there the day before a Monday holiday. I had already planned to make chicken pot pie for dinner, so they talked us into lunch at the pie. It did not disappoint! There really is no better pizza than the pie. And enjoying the pizza with most of my favorite people, just made it that much better. Harlee came home for the weekend which made the lunch perfection! So grateful for my family and I love the traditions that we have together.
