Today Nash taught his very first lesson for his Deacon's quorum. It was on the Come Follow Me lesson on forgiveness. Joey helped him prepare his lesson. He did an amazing job. I am so proud of him. Nash always steps up and does everything 100%. He was not nervous and was such a good example to all of the boys he was teaching.
We are the Childs family. Joey and I have been married for 23 years. We five beautiful and busy children: Luke is 21, Harlee is 18, Nash is 16, Gray is 15, and Tag is 13. Our days are CRAZY! We never stop going but love every minute of it!

Saturday Night Work out
We are coming to the end of your 100 days of exercise for $100 challenge. The kids needed to get their exercise in so they decided to work out together. They did Among Us work outs and Just dance. They were laughing and sweating a ton. It was so fun to watch them all exercise together. They made working out fun.
Harlee's Date
The tradition continues!! Harlee gets the first date of 2021- she was excited because she has never been first. After hearing about the fun that Luke had at K-1 Speed, Harlee really wanted to go there. We went to race super fast go-carts and Joey opted to just watch because he did not fit really well in the cars. So Harlee and I each did 2 races. It was so much fun! The first race it was just Harlee and I. I was in the lead most of the time and then she passed me for the win. The second race was with four other people. Har got 4th place and I got 3rd. After the racing Harlee chose Goodwood for lunch. Joey and I will never say no to that place! It was so fun to chat and enjoy some yummy food. It was such a fun date. I love this tradition. I love the special time that we get to spend one on one with each of our blessings.

Passing the Sacrament
*I really wanted a picture of them doing the sacrament together but it is not appropriate to take a picture of this sacred ordinance. This is a cute picture of them from this summer at Panguitch Lake.

New Purchase
Today when Joey and I were on our date he said he wanted to go to Costco to look at possibly buying a tv. We have been talking for a long time about fixing up the great room. We want to buy a new tv to go above the fireplace and then get rid of the big entertainment center in the corner. I did not think Joey would be ready to buy the tv yesterday but he surprised me. We got a 75 inch tv that is pretty amazing. Joey was so nice to mount it and get it all set up. We are in heaven. Feels like we are at a movie theater in our living room. So blessed.

Multi-tasking
Today was one of those days that I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to work remotely. It has been a week full of crazy snow and today the boys wanted to go sledding at Eagle Summit Park. Gray invited Sam and Nash invited his friend Dylan. They also encouraged Tag to come along. They had such a fun time sledding and I got to watch them while working in a warm car. Definitely a win win. I am so grateful for these moments when I can balance being a fun mom with my job.

Valentine's Day in St. Geezy
Happy Valentine's Day! How fun to wake up in my favorite place to celebrate this day of love. The kids were spoiled with a new swimsuit, shirt, and candy. Tag was a little bummed that I got him sour candy as he does not love sour candy. Never have to guess how that boy is feeling. I got Joey some treats and a new hoodie and he got me a track suit! We had a nice breakfast and then just relaxed for a bit. We went to the Habit for lunch before going to a few more homes. After seeing the homes we decided to go on a hike. It was such a pretty hike kind of over by grandma and grandpa's house above the old airport. Luke and Gray opted to stay home but the rest of us had a great time. What a beautiful day in my favorite spot. Cannot wait until Spring Break when we get to come back for a longer time. Love this place.

Saturday in the SG
Today was a great day! Harlee and I started the day by going to a really fun Dance Cardio class with Mindi. It was so fun to do this together. Once we got home the kids swam a lot- they asked their Dad to heat the pool and he cannot say no to their cute faces. I had to work a ton unfortunately so Joey took Har and Nash to see a couple of homes. We ordered Rigatti's pizza for dinner and that was super yummy. The highlight of Saturday came after dinner. We all played trivia with Kahoot. It was seriously so fun. I love family game time. We all laughed so much and it was the best time. Excited that we still have a full day tomorrow.

SG Parade of Homes
Last night we drove down to St. George with the rest of Utah County- the traffic was kind of nuts. Joey and I both decided to take the afternoon off. We took Harlee to Irmaitas for lunch. It was just as good as I remembered. The only negative was that Joey somehow convinced me to get his togo box since he felt it was a ladies job. He is seriously so funny and has no problem standing his ground until I give in. We then went and picked up Mindi before going to the Parade of Homes. Our favorite home was the last one that we went to that day. They had the most amazing backyard . I could seriously live there. What a fun day. So grateful that we get to be down here for a the rest of the weekend.

Super Bowl LV
Today was Super Bowl LV. It was played between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The first half was pretty boring with not a lot of scoring. Then the half time show was the Weekend and it was pretty good. The second half was filled with touch downs by the Buccaneers and we knew quickly that the Buccaneers were going to win. The best part of the Super Bowl was the junk food! We feasted on take n bake pizza, chips and gauc, and lots of candy. I love this time that we get to spend as a family.
