Tag's 14

Seriously how is my baby 14!  Time is flying by way too quick.  We are seriously so lucky to have be the caboose in our family.  He blesses all of us with his honesty and his example.  Tag was so lucky that they had the day off of school.  So we went to Nickel City to celebrate.  Nash came also which was super fun.  We got Summit Inn Pizza for dinner and then he opened his presents.  He was so excited to get switch games, new shorts, and a sewing machine.  He has taken a sewing class this year and loves it.  We finished the celebration with cake and the frosting he loves.  I hope he had the best day and feels how much we all love him.

Gray's Big Surprise

Gray was in SG this weekend for his friend Grant's birthday and we bought him a truck.  He out of all the kids has been the most excited about driving.  He has been sending truck ideas to Joey for the last year.  We found an amazing deal on a Honda Ridgeline sport.  When he got home on Monday, we asked him to go grab a present for Tag that we left in the garage.  It took him a minute but when he finally saw the truck, he was so excited.  I feel so lucky that we can get cars for our kids.  Such a blessing.  Now he just has to wait a few months until he can drive it.

Fun Date

Since there was no school today, Luke did not have to work and he promised to take Morgan out on a fun date.  They are always such creative things and I admire their never sit around mentality!  Today they went to a park and painted portraits of each other.  They turned out so good!  I love that Morgan always sends me pictures of them.  Such a blessing!  

MORP with Lily

This weekend was full of fun for Nash as he went to MORP with Lily.  The theme was 2000's which is so crazy that the 2000's are already a theme!  They had their day date yesterday and they went and played laser tag.  They went to Costa Vida tonight for dinner before going to the dance.  After the dance, they all went to Sisaley's house to hang out.  Nash had such a good time that he did not get home until 2am.  It was also so great because Luke and Costa were also in his group.  So glad that Nash gets to have these experiences and enjoy his last couple years of high school.

Much needed girl time

Harlee came home this weekend to go to a concert.  I was lucky enough to spend time with her today.  We went to Dollies for lunch and then went to see the movie Reminders of Him.  It was a really good movie but the best part was getting to watch it with Har.  I love when she comes home.  Such a great day!

He said "YES"

Tonight Nash had his friends over and they made their response posters.  Nash learned that Lily really likes the drink Celsius so he made his poster around that.  I am so excited for him to have a wonderful time on Saturday.  He also learned that Costa and Luke will both be in his group.  So fun!

Where is Tag?

After church today, I wandered around the house looking for Tag.  I called his name several times and I still could not find him.  I checked the guest room and found him fast asleep in his human dog bed.  He looks so peaceful and sweet.  This boy can sleep anywhere and really loves to relax in just about every room in the house.  Love this sweet boy of ours!

Spring Break in SG

On Wednesday, Luke and Morgan headed down to SG to spend their Spring Break in the warm weather.  On Wednesday, they got down there just in time to go to lunch with Harlee with John and Darolyne.  This is the first time that Morgan met the grandparents and they loved her.  PJ and his fiancé came down on Thursday to hang out with them.  They spent the rest of the week playing pickleball, going to the temple, going shooting, thrifting, swimming in the freezing pool, and having a nice relaxing time.  I love that they were able to get a break from school and work and enjoy a little relaxation.

Late night surprise...

We had just gone to bed tonight when Tag told me that Nash texted him and asked him to get something off the porch.  We went downstairs to find a poster and some cans of Ghost on the porch.  A girl named Lily had asked Nash to go to MORP.  The dance is in one week.  I am so excited for him.  It is so fun that he gets to have these experiences.

Brother's Night

Luke, Nash, and Gray got to spend the night together going to the Redveil concert.  He is a rapper that they all like.  I love any chance that they get to spend time together.  They had a great time and they even got to meet Redveil in person.  A successful night for sure.

The ongoing project...

 A couple of weeks ago, Joey had to go on a work trip back east.  I really do not love when he is gone so I decided that I would start a project.  Joey and I had discussed painting all of the doors in the house black.  So I started the job.  It will probably take months but we will get it done.  So far I have finished 12 doors and have about four more on the main floor and 9 in the basement.  It is a tedious job but I am loving the outcome.  I think it will be an amazing upgrade.  A lot of work but definitely worth it.  I cannot wait until they are all done.
