After we got back from church we were excited to keep our Christmas Eve traditions. We started by opening the gifts that we all got each other. We earn the money for the gifts through service. It is so fun to see the kids work hard for one another and then get them gifts they hope that they will like. After the gift exchange, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. JCW was closed and Texas Roadhouse was a great option since I had gotten $100 gift card from Jeff for Christmas. Free dinner is the best! After an early dinner, we came home and the kids opened up all of their gifts from us which consist of clothes and new shoes. As they get older, they are way more appreciative of these gifts. Well everyone but Tag! After relaxing a bit, the kids opened their Christmas pjs and they got new blankets. For dates this year, the kids are going to choosing where they want to go. Should be fun to see what they come up with. After they changed into their new pjs, we settled in to watch Elf. Such a fun day. We let Tag in on the Santa secret this year so setting up for Christmas morning will be a little less stressful knowing they will not be waking up. Hope they are all excited about what they get.
We are the Childs family. Joey and I have been married for 23 years. We five beautiful and busy children: Luke is 21, Harlee is 18, Nash is 16, Gray is 15, and Tag is 13. Our days are CRAZY! We never stop going but love every minute of it!
