Lucky is still Lucky

It was about 8:30pm last night when the kids remembered that they needed a trap to try to catch the sneaky leprechaun as he came to visit this St. Patrick's Day.  Thankfully Harlee had a trap she had made for science camp last year and the kids made some amazing and bilingual signs to entice Lucky into the trap.  It almost worked but Lucky escaped.  He left his annual mark in the potty and did a few more tricky things around the house.  He left the kids some yummy green treats.  I know that they wished for a leprechaun pet but the warhead spray will have to do!

Another sticker chart completed!

Couldn't be prouder of this cute little guy!  He earned ten stickers to get his 3-D Mario light.  I know that it is difficult for him to stay in his seat and sometimes a little difficult for him to stay quiet when the teacher is talking.  Each day that he can successfully do the above then the teacher will give him a stamp on his hand.  When he gets a stamp then we put a sticker on his chart.  So proud of him!  He can do hard things!

Junior High Registration

Cannot believe this is happening... How is time speeding up?  Tonight I took Harlee to Lehi Junior High School for her registration.  She will be starting 7th grade in the fall.  So so crazy!  She got to go on a tour of the school while I listened to some registration information.  She got to choose her locker buddy and she is sharing a locker with Nicci.   She is such a beautiful young lady and I just know that she is going to thrive in jr. high.  Cannot wait to see what next year will bring for her.

New Trick

Harlee loves to work with Ike and she is teaching him all sorts of new tricks.  She has taught our smart puppy how to shake.  It is seriously the cutest thing.  She is working on teaching him to lay down next.  Ike has become such a part of our family and I am so grateful that we welcomed him into our world.

Moving up a team

Our two fish are moving up to the next team!  When they came home from practice tonight they told me the news.  I am so proud of them.  They work so hard and go to practice five days a week without complaint.  And the cherry on top is that their time will change.  They will be home each night at 6pm so we can bring back the weeknight family dinners.  Congrats Nash and Gray!

Our new blue toy

How lucky are we?  We are the owners of a sweet blue golf cart!  Joey got a little bonus for being at Teva for 15 years (so proud of him) and he wanted to buy a golf cart for the family.  We got a screamin deal and I just know this is going to bring about a lot of fun memories for the family.  Just need to research driving ages for a golf cart so I can keep Luke and Har from taking off!

Best Dad Award

When Joey and I were out on our Saturday lunch date he told me that we needed to stop at Walmart on the way home.  He said that Tag really wanted to make cupcakes with green frosting so he was going to make that happen!  As soon as we got home he helped Tag make the cupcakes.  Seriously warms my heart to watch Joey patiently teach Tag how to do new things.  I am so blessed to have such a caring husband and the best father for our kids.

Great night for a camp out

I could not believe with the crazy snow storm that they would go through with the camp out but I was wrong.  These boys loaded up at 4pm and headed to Brigham City to go to the hot springs.  Luke got to ride up with his friend Logan.  They stopped for pizza and then made their way to the hot springs.  They spent four hours in the hot springs and thankfully the snow had stopped.  They had a cold night of sleep and then woke up for some breakfast of pancakes and bacon.  On their way home they stopped at Maddox- an amazing restaurant in Brigham City with the yummiest blackberry butter.  Luke got home around 2pm and had a great time!  So grateful for his leaders that take them to make these wonderful memories.

Decades of music

Today I got to go Nash and Harlee's music concert.  Nash was singing a song from the 50's and Harlee was to sing a song from the 80's.  Nash's group performed the song "Hound Dog" by Elvis Presley. They did a great job.  Nash had a chance to show off his dance moves and he did not disappoint.  Harlee performed the song "Beat It" by Michael Jackson.  She did an amazing job and was a little embarrassed of the dance moves.  I love watching these kids perform.  Love them!

Mr. Organization

Today Tag came in and told me that he was already for school on Monday.  He had packed his lunch and "organized" his clothes.  When I went to see the organization I saw his drawing.  So cute!  I love his picture reminder of what he needs to put on each day before school-especially the undies!  What a sweet boy.

Beehive Swim Meet

This morning Nash had the Beehive swim meet in Heber.  Joey was able to take him this time and cheer him on.  His first race was the 100 Free.  He swam this in 1:33:64.  The second race that he swam was the 50 Breast.  His time was 54:49 which means he shaved about 8 seconds off his fastest time.  So amazing!  The last race that Nash swam was the 100 IM.  He swam this race in 1:40 which meant he was about 16 seconds faster than his best time.  Amazing job Nash!  He is such a great swimmer and  I love that he loves it.

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
