Harlee's Turn

March is Harlee's month for her special date.  We planned that Harlee and I would go get a pedicure and then Joey would meet us for dinner at Summit Inn Pizza.  So we made our appointment for 4pm and I could not wait.  It is so fun to spend time with Harlee.  We each chose to get shelac done on our toes and enjoyed about 45 minutes of relaxation.  We both thought it went by too quickly!  Then we met Joey for dinner.  We feasted on doodles and pizza.  It is so fun to chat with Harlee and enjoy this one on one time with her.  I love this date idea and I think this will become a Christmas tradition.  Next month is Nash's turn!

Passing out the "Imitations"

Last week Tag told me that he wanted to have a party for his birthday.  He has never cared to celebrate with his friends so we were super excited that he wanted to have a party.  I booked a party
room at Coconut Cove for March 21st and we needed to get his invitations passed out.  He invited: Ava, Quinn, Kai, Mia, Olivia, Cole, Cohen, Ari, and Roxee.  We bought Mario Bros invitations and Tag could not wait to pass them out.  He would go up to each door and when they answered he would say "Here's my imitaion!" and awkwardly run back to the car.  It was so cute.  I am so excited for him to have this special party to celebrate his 6th birthday.  Love this sweet boy!  He reminds me of the little joys in life and makes me smile all of the time.

Monday Night Entertainment

Tonight we were all watching the Voice as a family.  All of the sudden Tag ditched his pants and started dancing around.  He thought he was so funny!  The more we laughed the more we encouraged him.  He was having so much fun.  Love this cute boy and all of the spontenaity that he brings into our life.  Never a dull moment!

H and N Bank Party

For the last few weeks Harlee and Nash have been working on their business "H & N Bank".  They have been giving us money and opportunities to spend it!  Today they spent their afternoon planning a party.  They had us play two games- find the four leaf clover and toss the popcorn through the leprechaun's mouth.  So clever!  Then we watched a power point they had made about their bank.  The party ended with treat bags full of popcorn.  I love how creative these two are together.  Always coming up with some new business idea!  Such a fun night!

Friend Day at Lowes

Today Harlee was having three of her girlfriends over so I decided to take Luke and a couple of his friend plus Nash, Gray, and Kai to Lowes.  I decided to take a book and ready while they wore themselves out.  They had so much fun and the sweaty red faces were proof of that fun.  After they jumped for a couple of hours we went to Krispy Kreme to cash in on the free good grade donuts.  Such a fun Saturday for these cute boys.

No School Fun

Today the kids did not have school because it was a teacher preparation day.  Luke went with his friend Kalab to Lowes so I decided to take the kids to Trafalga.   They are in the middle of renovating but they still had some fun options.  Nash and Gray started with laser tag, Harlee played video games, and Tag went in the playground area.  Then they tried rock climbing and the frog hopper.  Tag used to love it but this time might be his last.  Scared him to death!  Once we were funned out we left to go get icees.  It is so fun to have these times together and nothing if more fun than watching the kids have a great time.

Beehive Meet

Nash has done so well in swim and had two times that qualified for the Beehive Meet.  He qualified in the 50 Freestyle and the 50 Backstroke.  We were so proud of him.  He was invited to go compete in the Beehive Meet at the University of Utah.  Nash did such a great job and it was so neat to watch him be a part of this big meet.  I had to sit outside since they did not have a ton of seating space and it was freezing.  It was so cute because in between races Nash kept coming out to make sure I was warm.  He gave me his jacket and kept snuggling up to me.  Such a sweet boy!  So fun to get to watch his get better and better at swim.

Harlee's President Report

For the last couple weeks Harlee has been working hard on her president report.  She was given Chester A. Arthur the 21st President of the United States.  She learned that he was made president when the previous president was assasinated and the first lady was actually his sister since his wife had died.  She did such an amazing job and I got to go to the school and watch her present her report.  I am so proud of her and she is seriously the prettiest!!  So lucky to be her mom.

Daddy Daugther Breakfast

Today was the Daddy Daughter activity for Activity Days.  We had a breakfast for the dads. We made waffles with all the toppings.  Then the girls and their dads competed in Minute to Win it activities like throwing the marshmellow in the cup, moving the cookie down your face to your mouth without any hands, and moving m & m's from one bowl to the other with a straw.  They had so much fun!  I love watching Harlee and Joey spend time together.  He sure loves his daughter.  Love these special activities that they get to participate in together.

Teamwork

"Can we shovel the driveway?"  This is what Harlee asked me today as I was on my way to take Nash to swim.  Tag was so excited to help.  So cute!  I am so grateful for Haree's amazing work ethic and the perfect example she is setting for her younger brother.

Student of the Week

This week Gray was the student of the week in his class.  He got to bring in pictures and decorate a poster so the class could get to know him a little better.  He also got to bring in an item for show and tell.  Another perk of being student of the week is that he got to spend time with Froggie!  They played ping pong together and read books.  On Friday I was lucky to go in and read a few of Gray's favorite books to his class.  He chose "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" and "The Biggest Snowman".  After the reading we (Tag was my helper) passed out Gray's favorite little oranges.  So fun to spend a little bit of time with Gray in his classroom.

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
