My first loan with some of my favorite people

Today I closed my very first loan! It was a refinance for some of my favorite people. It was so fun to see the process from the beginning to end. I learned so much and I saved them some money. I would love to get more of my own loans and eventually not have to coordinate. Until then I will keep learning and loving this new opportunity!

Traverse Mountain 5k

Today we had the annual Traverse Mountain 5k. I had planned on running with Gray and Nash. Right before school Nash mentioned that he might want to run with just his friends but then worried he would not have anyone to run with! I let him know that he could run with me until better options came along! Needless to say we lost him less than a mile in! Gray was the first kindergartener to finsih- partly because he started with the first graders 15 minutes before his class! This did not stop him from telling everyone that he was the first one! Love his confidence. So fun to enjoy these fun activities with my cute kiddos!

Harlee's Dance Recital

Tonight Harlee had her dance recital. Kind of bad timing since Joey is out of town. She performed in both the 5pm and the 7pm show. Darolyne went to watch the first show and then Mimi, Jenna, and I went to the second show. She did an amazing job! She performed a jazz number called Center-field and a hip hop number to Space Jam. Harlee has gotten so good. I don't think my smile could get any bigger as I watch her. I love that she loves it! She is such a blessing to me in so many ways and to be able to share a love of dance is the icing on the beautiful cake! Such a fun night and such an amazing job Har!! *Since Joey couldn't make it he asked me to buy her some flowers and he wrote her the sweetest note! What a great dad!

He's off again...

On Sunday morning Joey left for another trip. This time is heading back to New Jersey for more training. He goes from Sunday until late Thursday night. Then he will come home for a few days and leave on Sunday again to go back. So not excited. I have such a hard time when he is gone. Guess it is good to miss each other! Praying that the time will pass quickly...

Gray's trip to the zoo

Gray was lucky to have a kindergarten field trip to the Hogle Zoo. All of the kindergartner's went together on a bus to Salt Lake where the zoo is located. He had the best time. He loved to see the gorilla's, the elephant's, and the rhinos! When I went to pick him up he held my hand all the way to the car and told me every detail of his day! What a special moment! I sure love this kid!*That second picture is of his squirrel face! Such a funny kid!

Tag's pretend preschool graduation

While Joey was spending time at Gray's animal showcase, I was attending Tag's preschool graduation. Even though Tag still has a year of preschool, Mrs. Alicen chose to honor everyone to make sure no one felt left out. Tag struggled a little and wanted to leave as soon as I got there. Mrs. Alicen suggested that I go and sit by him and he perked right up. He is doing so great and making such progress. He insisted on holding up his diploma in every picture. A true graduate! Love this cute boy!

Gray's Elephant Diorama

Each time we have a child in kindergarten we get to do a animal showcase. Gray chose a gray elephant. I bought a gray elephant off of amazon and Harlee helped him complete his diorama. Gray learned about the elephant's habitat, what they eat, what they look like, and something interesting about them. He learned that elephants are the most intelligent animal and the female is the boss. I knew I liked elephants!! Gray did a great job. Joey was lucky to take off work and go to the showcase. Gray was so excited to have his dad there.

It's On!!

For Mother's Day I received a Garmin Vivo Smart. This special band tracks my steps and guess who already has one?? Luke! Probably one of the most competitive people in our family. I am so excited to try to beat him daily! He saw me down on my treadmill and had to come do Joey's. He kept going faster and taunting me with those I am going to beat you eyes! This is too fun! Love a little friendly competition with one of my favorite people! It's on Luke!

Mother's Day

What a perfect day! I am so thankful for this day to reflect on the many blessings I get to have because I am allowed to mother these five blessings. Words will never be enough to express my love for each one of them. They are all so different and they each bring something special to our family. My day started off with loves signs on my door and breakfast in bed! Nash and Harlee made me eggs and bacon while I snuggled Tag in my room! Then I came downstairs to many presents: nutella, chocolates, new shirts, cards, plants, and a vivo smart! We went to church and then came home and watched Home Alone as a family. Joey then made a bbq dinner for me. It was a beautiful day. I love my children so much and I am beyond blessed to be their mom!

Murray Swim Meet

Yesterday Nash and Luke had a swim meet in Murray. As it poured outside they swam their little hearts out. They both amaze me with their swimming skills. They have gotten so strong and they both are extremely competitive. Here are the results: Nash- 50 Back- Old Time: 1:05:07 New Time: 55.7 sec- He shaved almost ten seconds off and won 3rd place! 50 Free- Old Time: 59:06 New Time: disqualified. He would have gotten around 55 seconds but he forgot to streamline off the board. Luke- 100 Free- Old Time: 1:34:36- New Time: 1:22. He was more than 12 seconds faster than before and he won 1st place!! 50 Fly- 51:85- He did not have a time before so this was amazing. He won 2nd place! 50 Free- Old Time: 37:18 New Time: 37:3. He did amazing but he was so upset with himself. He dived a little too deep at the start and that slowed him down. He is getting so fast and this is his favorite race to compete in. I love watching these boys swim. They are so committed going to practice 5 days a week for Luke and 3 for Nash. They are examples to me! So proud of them!

Jumping Beans

One of our greatest investments was the trampoline. As soon as the weather is not too cold, the kids love to go out and spend hours on the trampoline perfecting their skills. This morning the boys asked me to come out and watch. Gray and Luke have their back flips, Nash can do a cool side flip, and Tag seriously has no fear. I love to watch them have fun together. Times like this help me to feel good about having 5 kids in 7 years! Love these boys!

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
