Brace Faces

The other night we had my family over since Cory and Holly were visiting from California. It was so fun to see everyone. At the moment Luke shares a little something with his Uncle Don and Uncle Cory. It is not the ability to grow facial hair yet, but they are all sporting braces! Love all of these metal mouths!!

Room Transformation

We have been slowly updating the house in hopes of putting it back on the market in spring. Since the orange and brown combo is not so cool anymore, Joey painted our bedroom a pretty gray. We decided to keep the bedding a simple white and I got a little creative with the pillows. I really love it! It feels so clean and current. So grateful for a husband that does not mind painting!!

Our Artists

Luke has always been such an amazing artist. He really has a talent for it! Nash seems to be following in his footsteps. They were drawing pictures together on Friday and these were a few of the great ones. They did such an amazing job!

More fun times on our last summer trip of 2015

It makes me so sad to think this is the last time we will make it down to St. George this summer. This summer honestly flew by! We had such a relaxing trip including a few trips to the park, shopping at DI, and lots of swimming. I know that I say this all of the time but I do feel so blessed to have this home down south where we can go and make incredible memories as a family.

Another first in SG

The weather was a little cloudy on one of our days in St. George so I decided to take the older kids bowling. We had so much fun. Luke was the ultimate winner! We decided that we need to get a sitter for Tag and go bowling with Joey and Gray also. Such a fun time!

Last Summer Trip to St. George- First day Sand Hollow

We arrived late Wednesday night and decided that we would spend Thursday at Sand Hollow. After verifying that although the itchie bug sign was up, they had not had a case reported in over a month, we went in to enjoy the day. We first went to the rocks that Luke has been dying to jump off of. The four big kids took a turns jumping off and having the best time. We then drove to a more beachy part of the lake where the kids swam and played. It was seriously the perfect day to go. It was not crowded at all and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We packed a picnic lunch and just enjoyed some quality family time. What a beautiful place- what a beautiful life!!

A Fun Day of Jumpin...

Still reaping the benefits of Uncle Ryan's Christmas gift and loving every minute! We went to Airborne and the kids had a blast. Luke got to try to make it through the X course. He has been watching America Ninja Warrior and loves these obstacles. They were having so much fun that they made it almost an hour without asking for a treat! They had jumped so much that they needed a cold beverage! After Airborne we made our way to Beyond Glaze for some more sugar. Sure love spending time with these kids. They are at such a great age where we can all go and enjoy the same activity. Such good times!!

Girl's Trip

The benefits of having only one girl is that we get to have girl time! My friend Nickell and I planned a fun trip to St. George. Her daughter Vanessa and Harlee are such great friends and we knew it would be a wonderful trip. We left on Thursday afternoon and went to Costa Vida for lunch. After a few last minute stops we made our way to the SG! Nickell's sweet mom had written a letter and told Vanessa to open it in Filmore. When we made it to Filmore she read the letter which included a beautiful tribute to each of us and $20 spending money. Such a great way to start our trip. As we arrived in St. George we stopped for dinner at Pizza Factory. Then we went to the house and went swimming. After swimming we watched "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun". So great to watch one of my favorite movies with my favorite girl!. The next day we woke up and went to get smoothies before spending a few hours at the pool. When we got too hot we went shopping, to lunch at the Habit, and then get pedicures. After pedicures we went back and swam a bit. Then it was off to Chili's for dinner, more shopping, and frozen yogurt. By now it was 10pm but the girls still had enough energy to swim until after 11pm! Such an amazing day! The next day we got smoothies again for breakfast and then went back home to swim. We then cleaned and packed up to go home. We stopped at Brick oven for lunch and then made our way back to see our families. Such an amazing trip. So grateful for an amazing friend that I feel I can be 100% myself with. I am especially grateful for a beautiful daughter that I consider one of my six greatest blessings. She is everything I had hoped for and more. I so admire her outgoing personality, willingness to go with the flow, and her perfectly kind heart. I always say that if Heavenly Father knew He could only give me one girl, He gave me His best. So LUCKY to be her mom. I will never forget this weekend!! *Sorry for picture overload
