Funtopia

On Wednesday Tag goes to therapy from 11-3pm.  I decided I would take the older kids to do something fun that might be something we could not enjoy with Tag.  I took the kids to Funtopia in Lehi and they spent an expensive hour climbing, sweating, and having fun!  I loved watching them push themselves and have the best time!  After they burned tons of calories we went to McDonalds for lunch.  So grateful that I have a flexible job that allows me to take a little time off.  Also, so grateful for Joey's willingness to work hard so that we can afford these fun outings!

Family Pictures

Daryk took our family pictures the Friday before we went to St. George.  I always stress out and do not love the process but I love when they come back!  Daryk did such an amazing job and I am so grateful for the outcome!  I cannot believe how big our kids are getting.  So grateful for these new pictures.

Dough Co

My friend Sarah, my realtor, recently opened a dessert shop in Sugar House.  It is called Dough Co and they sell edible cookie dough.  It is seriously a dream come true!  It is so yummy!  Joey and I had gone to the soft opening a few weeks prior and decided it was time to let the kids in on this little place of amaziness.  Kai was staying the night with Nash and Gray so he got to go with us.  The kids loved it!  I promised Sarah we would not stay long since we are quite the group, but it was so nice to help her feel supported.  This will definitely not be the last time we visit Dough Co!

Dance Workshop

This week was Harlee's Dance Workshop week.  She went everyday from Monday- Thursday and learned a different dance each day.  She got to learn song/dance, jazz, tap and hip hop.  She had a great time.  On Thursday I got to go and watch her perform these dances.  I love watching her dance and I love that she loves it.

Another Brace Face

Today was Harlee's big day!  She was going to get her braces on!  We needed to be there by 8:30am and Harlee was awake by 6am!  She was really excited!  I cannot believe how old she looks with her braces- so cute!  If all gos well she will get her braces off before she starts junior high.  So excited for her.  Here is her before and after shot!

Spicing Up a Summer Day

It is kind of crazy working during the summer.  I feel bad that I cannot entertain kids as much as I want to.  Today I was working in the office and I learned that the kids do not need me to entertain them!  They were having way too much fun with costumes.  Nash cracked me up when he came in looking light the Minion Luigi!  What a welcomed break from a busy work day!

Friday and the Last Full Day in SG

Friday was a day full of swim, cleaning and painting!  We knew that we were wanting to leave in the morning so we prepared for that.  We did go out to lunch and kept the tradition of trying something new.  In all honesty, Joey and I had eaten at this place before but the kids had not.  We went to the Boulevard and it did not disappoint.  I love that we are at the point where we can actually enjoy eating out at a restaurant together.  We spent the rest of the day cleaning the house while Joey started painting the baseboards (such a welcomed and amazing change).  These trips always go to fast!  Cannot wait for the next time we get to come down and make more memories.

Thursday in St Georgie

We woke up bright and early and went to the new resevoir in Ivins.  It was beautiful!  We got there and had the place to ourselves.  The water was pretty cold but once the kids got use to it they had the best time.  It was so fun watching them enjoy themselves and so relaxing as we watched them under the shade of the canopy!  We stayed for quite a while and then left to grab breakfast at our favorite place the Crepery!  We spent the rest of the day relaxing and swimming.  We went Astro Burger for sinner and then rented a movie called the Shack for family movie night.  The movie was so not worth our time but the company was amazing!  I am so grateful for this beautiful place we have in St. George to make this wonderful memories as a family.  Beyond blessed!
