We are the Childs family. Joey and I have been married for 23 years. We five beautiful and busy children: Luke is 21, Harlee is 18, Nash is 16, Gray is 15, and Tag is 13. Our days are CRAZY! We never stop going but love every minute of it!

Wednesday in St. George
Another great day for the books! The day started off with a little clean up in preparation to see our old friends. Joey took all of the kids except for Gray over to John and Darolyne's so Gray and I could visit with Cole and Marisa. It has been about a year since we have seen them and it was so fun to pick up right where we left off. The time flew while we visited and once they had left we went to Costco. The rest of the day was relaxing. We relaxed and swam. It was so so nice. I was grateful for a day to unwind a bit. The kids were not the only ones who loved swimming! Ike would bark every time we would go out back to swim until we brought him out with us. He is a good little swimmer and is in heaven playing in the pool with the kids. We are going to wake up bright and early to go to the new resevoir in Ivins. Super excited!

July 4th in the SG
What an amazing day! When we woke up and Joey told us to get ready. One of the many things I love about Joey is that he doesn't let us just sit around on our trips. We had the best day because he got us up and going! The first thing on the agenda was driving up to Cedar Breaks in Brian Head. Minus a few carsick kiddos, it was perfect! What a beautiful place! We loved walking around and enjoying the breathtaking views. After we walked around a bit, we drove into Cedar City for some lunch before heading to the Toquerville Falls. I always wonder how people find these special places. KC had taken the kids a while back and I could not wait to see it. The kids had so much fun floating down the river. We went home to swim and prepare for some fireworks! As it got dark, we did a few sparklers before going to watch the city show. Seriously the best firework show I had seen in a long time. It truly was a perfect day! I am so blessed.

On our way...
We have been counting down the days since our last St. George trip in April. So looking forward to a week of relaxation! I drove Harlee, Nash, Gray, Tag, and Ike down in the morning and Joey and Luke will be joining us this evening. I am so excited for a wonderful week full of fun and tons of pictures! I love St. George!!
