Dance Competition
Today Harlee had her second dance competition for the year. It was held at Timpanogos High School. Harlee competed with two hip hop numbers: Me Too and Jump and then her jazz dance "If My Friends could see me now". She did such a great job. I love to watch her perform. She was awarded 4th place for Me Too and second for Jump. We are not sure what place they received for jazz. I am so proud of her. Great job Horsley!
Father and Son's and Girl's Night
Last night Joey took the boys on their first ever Father and Sons campout. In the week prior he bought a tent and sleeping bags. The boys were so excited! They camped out past Park City. Besides the fact that it was freezing during the night they had so much fun. Tag came home and said "Mom, I love camping!" They spent the night playing soccer, skipping rocks, and roasting marshmellows on the fire. The kids were exhausted by 9:30pm.
Harlee and I had planned out our girl's night. It was so much fun. We went shopping and then to Cafe Rio for dinner. After we bought some supplies to make treats. Harlee endured "the talk" while we baked. Then we watched a dating show together until we were tired. We had a slumber party in my room with Ike. Such a great night! I LOVE that I have a beautiful daughter that I get to spend one on one time with.
So grateful that Joey took the boys on this special campout and I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with Har.

May 17-Only in Utah
When I heard the weather report of possible snow tomorrow I was thinking I must have heard them wrong. We are in the middle of May, there is no way there could be snow? I woke up to this! I was so shocked and even more sad. I am so ready for summer. Hopefully this is the last snow of the season.

Tag's Snowman
Tag has become so much more willing to touch food. I never would have thought anything of a child playing with food but with Tag's struggle with food this is amazing. Tonight Tag wanted to make a snowman out of marshmellows. He did a baby carrot for his nose and mini chocolate chips for the eyes and buttons. His hands were covered in chocolate but he did not mind. Such a cute boy! So grateful for the progress he is making.

Mother's Day
What a special day I had today! I started off my morning with a delicious breakfast including eggs, bacon, hash browns, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice. It was so yummy and the best part is I did not have to cook or clean! I was then showered with so many gifts. My favorite gifts were those from the kids and the special note from Joey. They said things that got me choked up. Joey made an amazing bbq dinner and yummy chocolate/caramel pie for dessert. What a wonderful day. I love my family so much. I feel so blessed to be a mom to these five amazing blessings. So grateful for all that they did to make my Mother's Day perfect.

Nash's Mother's Day Program
Today I was lucky to go to Nash's Mother's Day program. They sang a few cute songs about mothers and recited a nice poem. Nash had his arms folded the whole time but he still smiled and participated! After the program he gave me a sweet book he had written things and drew cute pictures. He did say "My mom is pretty when she wears make-up!" and "My mom loves it when we clean up without being asked." Such a cute boy. He also gave me a gift that I will save until Mother's Day. After the gift giving we enjoyed cinnamon rolls and fruit together. So special to get to spend a little time with Nash. Love him so much!

"Egg Hunt"
Since John and Darolyne were in St. George for Easter we had our annual Easter egg hunt just a few weeks late. Tag was so upset that I kept calling it an "Easter Egg Hunt" since is was not Easter! So we referred to it as the egg hunt! We started out with a family lunch at Chuck A Rama. Some of us were more excited than others! After lunch we went over to Mindi's house and enjoyed hunting in the thunderstorm! There may have been some elbows thrown but we all had a great time. Of course Joey got the most money and he refused to share with me like he used to. He did give some of his money to Carson who got the least. Such a good guy! I love this time we get to spend together as a family.

Wrong Dog
Tuesday was grooming day again. We are all a little sad since we love the furry Ike but he needed a good cleaning! We have done this before but it still shocks me when I go to pick him up. We all think he is a little cuter with his crazy hair but we love him no matter what! Still cannot believe we have a dog but he is really growing on me!

Swimming Lessons
It is finally Tag's turn to get in the pool! Everyday he talks about when he is six and he gets to be on the swim team like his older brothers. Since you cannot do the swim team with a life jacket, I figured it was time to get him in swimming lessons. This also helps with the nervousness that comes from owning a pool in St. George. So I signed him up and when I told him about it on Monday morning he just screamed and cried! He did not want to go. After 5 seconds in the pool the fear was gone! He loves it and he does an amazing job! His teacher was like "Umm heknows how to swim!". He is so strong and can hold his breath for an abnormally long amount of time. If only we could get him to keep his head out of the water long enough to listen to her instruction! So proud of our little fish!
