Brennan's Farewell
Yesterday we had Brennan's farewell. He gave a great talk on the Book of Mormon. He also shared his testimony and his excitement to serve the people of Paraguay. He is going to be an amazing missionary. So proud of him and excited for all the amazing experiences he is going to have.

Brennan's Endowments
Yesterday Brennan had the opportunity to take out his endowments as he prepares to leave on October 4th to serve his mission in the Paraguay Asuncion mission (the same mission as Don!) He chose the Provo City Center Temple. What a special time to experience with him. So proud of his decision to serve a mission. Such an example to his nieces and nephews!

Gray's first soccer game
And so the busy Saturday's begin! Gray is back in soccer again. Before we knew he wanted to join the swim team we signed him up for soccer. It makes for more craziness for the Childs. That being said it is so fun to watch him play. He has some skills! He made a goal his first game and we couldn't be prouder! Here's to a great season!

Labor Day
Oh how I LOVE when we have a day off and can spend some time together as a family. We woke up and went and played tennis. Then we celebrated the good games with a stop at Daylight Donuts. We came home and rested a bit before going to Chubby's for lunch. We spent the night swimming and having a BBQ at Jamie and Mindi's. Such a great day!

Sunday Skipping Rocks
It was a rare Sunday when Joey was home a little after 3pm. He came home and suggested that we go to Utah Lake and skip some rocks. We went out back to find the flattest rocks and drove to the lake. Joey was for sure the best skipper followed by Luke. The rest of us struggled a bit but had the best time trying. I LOVE these family times. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family that I get to love.

Tag's first day of Giant Steps
Today Tag started his first day at Giant Steps preschool. We are so excited and feel so blessed that he has been given this opportunity. He goes to school Tuesday - Friday from 8:25 - 4:15pm. He spends the day getting 3 different types of autism therapy including ABA therapy. Such a wonderful blessing. The best part is he is excited to go. The hardest part is that I miss him so much when he is gone. We are so excited for the progress that we know will come as he gets to enjoy this amazing opportunity!

The Roof- the celebration continues...
On Friday, John and Darolyne treated us to the Roof for their 50th anniversary. What a beautiful place with amazing food. Over dinner, John shared the story of how he knew that Darolyne was the one that he was supposed to marry. As he spoke he had tears in his eyes- kind of reminds me of someone else I love! What a beautiful night to celebrate a beautiful love. So grateful for their choice to marry and for the legacy that I get to be a part of.

50 Wonderful Years
On Thursday we had the great opportunity to celebrate John and Darolyne's 50th wedding anniversary. We had a fun party at Jamie and Mindi's house. We had pizza, a celebratory toast, a slide show of our favorite people. So grateful for John and Darolyne! They are such amazing examples of the great things that can come from two people falling in love!

Tag Time
Since all of the kids were gone at school I decided to take Tag to the mall to ride the train. It was no surprise that he chose the "Luigi" car. He loved the train ride and he was so good. After we toured the mall by train, we went and played in the nickel-cade. He had the best time riding the big car. We stopped for some icees on the way home. Once we were home I told Tag that we were going to snuggle on the couch. He responded with "and toot and fart?" Seriously? He is such a funny kid. I am going to enjoy this week that we have together before he starts school next week. Love this boy so so much!
First Day of School
The day is here- Harlee, Nash and Gray are starting school! Harlee is starting fourth grade and her teacher is Mrs. Smith. Nash is starting second grade and his teacher is Mrs. Christensen. She was Harlee's preschool and first grade teacher. We love her! Gray is starting first grade and his teacher is Mrs. Turner. All of the kids were so excited to start and looked super great in their new clothes! I am so excited for this year and for all the great things they are going to learn!
