Seriously cannot get enough

Tag is such a snuggly kid and I LOVE IT! You can tell that he is the baby when almost every night I welcome him sleeping in our bed! I love to snuggle with him and wake up to his cute face in the morning. He also loves to snuggle with Harlee and I know she loves it too. I just want to freeze time.

Cory and Holly

What a special, unforgettable day! We arrived at the temple at 10 for the 10:30am session. It was so wonderful to see the sealing room full of people that love Cory and Holly. The sealer had some very great advice he gave them. The spirit was so strong and I was so proud of both of them for living such virtuous lives that allowed them to make an eternal commitment in the temple. After the sealing we took pictures outside and then headed over to the luncheon at Holly's grandparent's home. We rushed back to our hotel to freshen up and then went to the reception. It was at a beautiful golf course and the night was so fun! We enjoyed amazing food and dancing. Such a beautiful day and we could not be more excited for them!

Love day comes early

We are leaving tonight for Cory and Holly's wedding. Since their special day will be on Valentine's Day we decided to give the kiddos their gift a few days early. It was perfect because they each got a new movie to enjoy on the drive to California. I had asked Joey to pick up some treats to set out and before he left for work he told me that he had put them in the spare room. As I went in there to get the treats I noticed a little something for me that he had left on the bed. He got me a new swimsuit, a new shirt, and some treats. So thoughtful of him. So grateful to have my best friend for my eternal Valentine. Love him so much! Such a special surprise! I so look forward to being in the temple with Joey on Valentine's Day as we watch Cory and Holly make eternal covenants. I pray that they will be as happy 13 years later as we are. I am so lucky!

What a beautiful day!!

On Saturday Harlee made a choice that is one of the first important steps to eternity. Harlee was baptized! I could not be more proud! She is such a beautiful girl inside and out and I feel so blessed to be her mom. I am so grateful that Joey lives so honestly and honors his priesthood. It is so amazing to watch him baptize our children. After he confirmed her, he gave her a wonderful blessing. He reminded her that she has so many people that love her; siblings, grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousins. He reminded her that this was one of the first of many important decisions she can make to help her return to her Heavenly Father. Harlee is truly a blessing to me and I love her so much! *Harlee was baptized with one of her greatest friends Vanessa. Her mom is one of my greatest friends and it was so special to share this day with them!

UV Ray Heart Attack Swim Meet

Yesterday Luke had another swim meet. He did amazing! He swam his freestyle in 46.99 seconds which is almost 2 seconds faster than his best time! He also swam his breaststroke without getting disqualified. He tells me that he struggles with his kick and that is why he usually does not get a time. But he did awesome and now he has something to improve upon at the next meet. I just love that he has found something that he loves and he is so good at it. So proud of you Luke.

From this to this...

Lately Tag has been a lot more willing to wear masks and costumes. This is so great for him so I thought until he insisted on wearing Harlee's flower wreath from dance. So funny. From Darth Vader to a flower wreath?? This kid is too funny.

Super Bowl Party Childs Style

Tonight was the Super Bowl between the Patriots and the SeaHawks. We have never watched the Super Bowl but Luke was so excited about it. So we brought a ton of snacks down to the basement and each took our spot in a theater chair. It was so fun to watch the commercials and a little less fun to see Katy Perry perform at half-time! I love my family and I love all of the time that we get to spend together- especially when we are all comfortable in our sweats!

Harlee's baptism interview

Today Harlee had her baptism interview with the Bishop. As we waited for our turn Joey and I teased her about all of the hard questions she needed to answer in order to be allowed to get baptized. What a special time this is. Is was so fun to watch her interact with the Bishop and answer his questions. I loved to watch Joey watch Harlee. I get choked up just remembering the moment. He loves his daughter so much. I just feel that they are so lucky to have each other. I cannot wait until Saturday when Harlee makes one of the best choices she could make. I am so proud to be her mom!
