Nash is 6!!!

I seriously cannot believe our Nash is 6! Where has the time gone? So blessed to be the mom of this smart, loving, handsome, boy of mine. Just love him! We woke up early to go get dunkin donuts to start the birthday off right. Then we celebrated with his kindergarten class with his favorite frosted cookies. Luke had a swim meet so once we got home at 8:30 we opened presents and had his cake. Nash requested a Big Hero 6 cake. I had gotten it all done and looking nice when I went to do Nash and Gray's hair for school. When we came back Tag had helped himself to the cake. I fixed it the best I could but Tag still left his mark! Nash was so cute and said "That's fine Mom!" Such a great brother! For his presents he got the new lego batman xbox game, a big hero six mask and arm, a nike ball, elites, and a volcom sweatshirt. He was loving his gifts. Happy birthday my sweet Nash!

Harlee's First Dance Performance with Showcase USA

This year we branched out and Harlee is taking dance with me at the Dance Depot and then she is taking a jazz class at Showcase USA. They have learned a dance called Little Sister. It is so cute and Harlee did such a great job. She is such a great dancer and I LOVE to watch her love dance. It is my dancer dream coming true. I know that Harlee may not always love dancing and I am so ok with that. I will just so enjoy watching her while she does!

Tree of Life

On Sunday we drove up to Draper to see the "Tree of Life". The Draper park has decorated all the trees with tons of lights and this one people are calling the tree of life. It was beautiful. The kids that listened to mom and wore shoes, got to go run out and take a closer look. Joey, me and the shoeless kids stayed in the warm car. I wanted a picture of all the kids and Tag obviously was not paying attention. He had more important things on his mind! In the last picture it looks like he is giving the camera mom a piece of his mind! Love these family moments, love love love my family!

Big day for Tag- Rough day for Mom

On Saturday we started getting things done around the house. Not sure if it has been mentioned but we are strongly considering putting our house on the market. So we were organizing the rooms and Joey decided it was time to move the crib out. He has for sure been in the crib longer than any of our children have but I am so not ready for this. It has been a few days though and he is doing awesome. It may help that now all of the kids want to sleep together in that room. Last night he even just went into bed with the big kids. I didn't rock him! So so sad to see him growing up- my baby. So proud of him though for doing such an amazing transition. If only we could perfect the napping situation. I might be getting a nap everyday!

Pajama Day or is it??

Today Gray had his pajama day at preschool. They dress in their pjs and get to board the polar express if they remember their candy coin! Gray thought he was going to ride a real train and informed me when he got home that it was not fun! Nash was convinced that he was suppose to wear his pajamas today too! He got all ready and when he got to school he was the only one in pjs. Thankfully Joey ran him home so he could change. Hopefully he will get a pajama day soon! Poor Nash! *They insisted on doing two pictures. One smiling and then a silly face picture. Love these cute boys!!

Joey's Christmas Dinner

Last night we had Joey's Christmas Dinner for work. This year they invited the leadership team to a dinner at Carvers. It was quite the fancy place. We sat by Patricia and Erik- two of Joey's favorite people to work with. They are both so down to earth and it was fun to get to know them both. The food was good but the dessert was amazing! So grateful for Grandma and Grandpa who came and watched the kids for us. They had so much fun making gingerbread houses, playing a fun game called Blink, eating pizza, and hiking up to the Man Cave! What a fun night for all of us! *The only way Joey would agree to a picture is if he did not have to stand up. So fun to squat down in heels! At the work party Patricia joked about not taking pictures of Joey because she knows how he feels about that! At least he is consistent!

And it's back...

We missed it last year but planned early to have another successful Breakfast Club. Deb, Janet, Serene, and I met at Kneaders for yummy food and a gift exchange. I just love these ladies. They are such great examples to me. Whenever I spend time with them I leave feeling uplifted and wanting to be better. So grateful to have them in my life. What a great way to start the day!

Crazy Hair Day

Harlee's class has been working over the next few weeks to earn a crazy hair day! About a year ago Joey bought a bunch of colored hair spray,on sale of course, and Harlee could not wait to use it! She wanted three ponytails, each a different color. Then we did some polka dots to add a little crazy! I love that she gets into these things and is not afraid of the attention. She is super outgoing and I love that about her!

One of a Kind...

Seriously don't know what I would do without this little guy! He keeps us laughing and guessing what he will do next. I had Nash take a picture of him wearing upside down pink glasses while we drove Nash to a friend's house. He looks so cute! Love you Tag! Thanks for making life fun!

Perfect Night at Temple Square

As we were driving to Salt Lake I could not believe the temperature read 63 degrees. I am usually not the biggest fan of seeing the lights because I HATE to be cold. We were prepared with gloves, hats, and scarves but we left them all in the car. The lights were beautiful and it was so great to enjoy a little family time. I love the temple and blessing of eternity that it offers. As I walked around with the people I love the most, there was no where else I would rather be. I cannot wait until the day that we can all be inside the temple together. *We had a family picture taken but the flash would not turn off. So sad that it did not turn out. It took a little catching off guard to even get Joey to agree to the picture! All that work for nothing!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Thanksgiving is over- bring on Christmas! We spent most of the day yesterday getting the house set up for the holidays. Joey even painted the nook above the fireplace. I am loving it. I am so grateful for the holiday season. So fun to spend time with everyone I love and to reflect on the life of my Savior. We truly have so many blessings!

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
