Harlee's Dance Recital

Saturday was the big dance recital!! Harlee had Holly this year and LOVED her! She did a tap dance to Kids in America and a jazz dance to Mambo #5. Mimi, Joey, and Nash came to watch her! She did such a great job. She smiled and did all of the steps. I love that she loves to dance. It is so fun to watch her and share this love with her.

Just chillin...

Tag loves to watch tv- not sure if this is a good thing! Spongebob was on and he found himself an apple. So this is the way I found him on a Saturday afternoon. He is such a mellow kid! We just love our Tag!

Joey's kind of Father and Sons

The ward Father and Sons campout was this weekend. Unfortunantely it fell on the same weekend as the recital. I had to set up Friday night and teach early Saturday morning. So Joey took Gray, Nash, and Luke out for a fun night. They went to In and Out Burger for dinner and then went to JCW's for dessert. The boys had a lot of fun and I love that they got to spend time together. I took Harlee and Tag to hang out Marisa, Kelsey and Cole. We grabbed Kneaders for dinner and then went to a park. It was a really fun night.

It just got really quiet....

I was at the kitchen table working on some final accessories for the dance recital, and Gray and Nash were watching Spongebob. All the sudden it got really quiet. Nash was very into the show and I went to see what Gray was doing. This is how I found him. You have to be really tired to fall asleep standing up. I wish I could do that!!

Harlee's cow

For Harlee's Kindergarten class she was given the assignment to make an Animal Diorama. Since when do we have projects in kindergarten?? Anyway, Harlee was excited and chose a cow as her animal. We had fun working on it together. She had to answer questions about the cow. She said her favorite thing about a cow is that it makes milk that is used to make icecream! That's my girl!! She is having a showcase next week where she will present her diorama. Can't wait to see her do it!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Today Nash was so excited to go to his Teddy Bear Picnic at preschool. He opted to take his turtle pillow pet. He said they played lots of games and his favorite was Hide and Seek Tag!! I love that he enjoys going to school and has the opportunity to have all these fun experiences.

Botox Round 2

Yesterday Tag had his second round of Botox. They are hoping that with this second round it will correct the torticolis completely. I hope so much that is true! Besides the fact that it took them until 10:30am to take him back and he was starving, he was such a good boy. They had heard that he loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so they played that on an IPAD to distract him as he went under. Such a better experience. It was a really short procedure. I was dreading him coming out of the anesthetia because last time he was a nightmare. Not the case this time. He popped up and devoured the goldfish crackers they gave him. Not one peep! The nurse called him her model patient!! Love our Tag and hoping that his issue will soon be gone. *Here are some of the toys that kept him busy while we waited. Gray would be jealous!

Daryk's Mission Call

We are so excited to announce that Daryk got his mission call. He was called to the Kobe, Japan Mission and reports to the MTC on September 17,2013. He joked that if he was not called to Japan then he might send the call back. Guess he needs to be on a mission!! We are so proud of Daryk. He is setting such a good example for all of his cousins!

"Bull"

On Sunday we had Jamie's family over for a bbq. The kids were so excited because Carson and Brody would play "Bull" with them. They love this! I guess this is a game where they are chased by the bull (Carson and Brody)! All I know is that I hear all sorts of laughter during this game. On Sunday before they came over, Nash and Harlee insisted on wearing red because the bull is attracted to red. So funny! I feel so blessed that they have so many cousins to grow up around.

Perfect Day for the Park

<< Since the weather was so nice we decided to go visit Mimi and GP. We went to a park down the street from their house and the kids had a blast. I LOVE these pictures. The look of pure joy! So grateful for beautiful weather and so grateful that our kids get to grow up with active grandparents on both sides. Truly blessed.

May 1st in Utah

I love living in Utah but I seriously do not love the weather! It is May 1st and this is what we wake up to- are you kidding me?? The kids were so bummed. We are all ready for nice weather so we can enjoy being outside. Thankfully the weather changes so quickly and it is suppose to be close to 70 on Friday. Can't wait! Just glad I have not put all the winter clothes away yet.

Nash's Patriarchal Blessing

Nash has been thinking about getting his patriarchal blessing for a little while now.  Harlee told him of how they did a devotional at HXP b...
